How It Works

A home sale with a start, a finish, and a real price.

Every SoldBlock auction runs seven days with fully visible bidding. Here's the path for buyers and sellers.

For Buyers

1

Join the list & get verified

Sign up now to be first in line. Before launch, registered bidders complete a quick verification so every bid on the platform is real.

2

Watch, tour & join the discussion

Follow listings, browse full photo galleries, tour homes during preview windows, and ask questions in each listing's comment thread.

3

Bid live over 7 days

Every bid is public and every bidder is verified. When the clock ends, the highest bid wins — and closing proceeds like a normal home purchase.

For Sellers

1

List with your agent

Your home is listed on the MLS and on SoldBlock at the same time. Your agent keeps the listing — SoldBlock runs the auction.

2

An editorial presentation & a 7-day event

Professional presentation, a full gallery, and a countdown the whole community watches. Competition does the pricing work.

3

Close like a normal sale

The winning buyer pays a premium on top of the hammer price. You pay 0% platform fee, and your agent's commission works exactly as it does today.

For Agents

Your listing. Your commission. Sold in seven days.

SoldBlock was built with agents, not around them. You bring the listing and the client relationship — we bring the audience, the event, and the auction.

✓

Your commission is untouched

Your commission is negotiated with your seller and paid from the hammer price, exactly as in a traditional sale. SoldBlock's revenue is the buyer premium — paid by the buyer, on top.

✓

Turn stale listings into events

Expired, stale, and time-sensitive listings get a second launch with a deadline attached. Seven days of visible competition beats seven more weeks of price reductions.

✓

Dual-listed on the MLS

Every SoldBlock home is also entered on the MLS through your normal brokerage process — full exposure, full compliance, no shadow inventory.

✓

You keep the client

SoldBlock never takes your relationship. You remain the listing agent of record from preview to closing.

Bring a listing to the inaugural auctions

We're lining up a small group of Atlanta agents for the first auction calendar. If you have a listing that deserves an audience — especially one that's been sitting — we want to talk before launch.

Talk to Us About a Listing

Estates, relocations, divorces, and distinctive homes with a story are especially strong fits for the format.

Community

The discussion is half the fun.

Every listing has an open comment thread, and the community is already forming around the previews. Here's a look at who's here and what's happening. (Preview activity — the leaderboard goes live with the first auctions.)

FAQ

Questions, answered straight.

SoldBlock is a live-auction marketplace for homes that deserve an audience. Instead of months of private negotiation, a curated home is presented editorially and sold in a transparent seven-day auction where every bid is public and every bidder is verified. We're launching first in Atlanta.
Soon — we're finalizing the inaugural auction calendar now. Bidding is not yet open. Join the bidder list and you'll be notified before the first auctions go live, with early access to previews and tour windows.
Nothing to join or to bid. If you win, you pay a buyer premium on top of your winning bid — from 2.5% in our working launch model — which is disclosed on every listing before bidding opens. Your total price is always your bid plus the premium. No surprises.
Sellers pay a 0% platform fee to SoldBlock. Your listing agent's commission is negotiated between you and your agent and paid from the hammer price, exactly as in a traditional sale. SoldBlock's revenue comes from the buyer premium.
Yes — fully. You stay the listing agent of record, your commission is paid from the hammer price as usual, and your listing is dual-listed on the MLS and SoldBlock. We run the auction and bring the audience; the client relationship stays yours.
Bidding is not yet open, so nothing is binding today. When auctions launch, winning bids will be binding under the published auction terms — every registered bidder reviews and accepts those terms before bidding, and the winning bidder signs a purchase agreement at the close of the auction, just like a traditional sale.
